It is the very first day of autumn. I've seen two ospreys this morning. But the first day of autumn means the ospreys are leaving very very soon to go south for the winter. This morning I watched the great blue heron get his toes tickled. I don't know what was tickling them: maybe small fish, or amphibians, maybe small snakes. It was an interesting dance to watch and I hope you enjoy it. Take, care, be safe.
