FEES AND FAQS
Fees: All fees are prepaid by credit card. Most major credit cards accepted.
Private Session: $90 for a 3 hour session.
Group Session: If you have a group of 2-4 photographers who want to share the cost of a session, please contact me via the contact form and we can discuss how the fee ($25-$45/person) would be structured and deposits required.
Class Dates: Thursday through Sunday. If interested in Monday through Wednesday, please use contact form for those queries.
Class Times: 7 AM March - September; 8 AM October - February.
Class Location: Jordan Lake and nearby.
Bad Weather: class will only be canceled if there is a severe weather warning. Birds are out in all sorts of weather and so am I. If bad weather causes a cancellation, your session will be rescheduled.
If made prior to 48 hours of the class, there will be a refund or a reschedule.
If made at less than 48 hours before the class, there is a $10 cancellation fee and the balance of your registration fee will be refunded.
If you have an emergency, please contact me immediately and we will work out a refund or a rescheduling.
WHAT TO BRING FOR THE SESSIONS
Note: the following suggestions are a guideline to minimal equipment needed. Photography equipment is expensive and I will try to help you make upgrade decisions during the class.
Camera and lens (200mm at a minimum; 400mm is a good choice) and tripod (if you have long lens or heavy cameras). Tripods are not necessary but can make life easier. Monopods are also useful.
Binoculars if you have them. They are not necessary, but come in handy.
Folding chair or camp stool; there are no seating arrangements at the session sites.
Wear sturdy shoes and outdoor casual attire. Appropriate clothing for the weather. Wear dark clothes.
Insect repellent is sometimes useful but not always needed.
No dogs allowed. I like dogs ... birds do not.
